V roku 2007 marocký kráľ Mohamed VI. spustil výstavbu diaľnice, ktorá spojí mestá Fés a Oujda. Diaľnica sa dokončí v roku 2011. Bude dlhá 316,5 km. Jej cena je 10,7 mld. marockých dirhamov. Diaľnice je rozdelená na 12 ůsekov:
Section n°1 : Fès – Ras Tabouda (41 km) ;
Section n° 2 : Ras Tabouda – Tahla (26 km) ;
Section n° 3 : Tahla – Oued Amlil (20 km) ;
Section n° 4 : Oued Amlil – Oued Inaouen (18 km) ;
Section n° 5 : Oued Inaouen – Taza (15.5 km) ;
Section n° 6 : Taza – M’soun (31 km) ;
Section n° 7 : M’soun - Guercif (33 km) ;
Section n° 8 : Guercif - Taourirt (34 km) ;
Section n° 9 : Taourirt – PK 31+840 (32 km) ;
Section n° 10 : PK 31+840 – laayoun (18 km).
Section n° 11 : laayoun – PK 11+300 (37 km).
Section n° 12 : PK 11+300 – Oujda (11 km).
